ASSA ABLOY acquires Senior Architectural Systems in the UK

SAS’s aluminium commercial doors and curtain walling were used in the new museum and event space for Glasgow Rangers Football Club,

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Senior Architectural Systems (SAS), an independent supplier of aluminum window, door and curtain wall systems and thermally efficient fenestration systems.

Speaking of the acquisition Nico Delvaux, president and CEO of ASSA ABLOY said: "I am very pleased to welcome SAS to ASSA ABLOY. This acquisition delivers on our strategy to add complementary products and solutions to our core business."

SAS offers an innovative and high-quality range of window and door profile systems including market leading thermally efficient technology. Its portfolio will further extend the ASSA ABLOY offering in the commercial OEM market in the UK.”

SAS was established in 1991 and has 150 employees. The main office and factory are located in Yorkshire, UK. Sales for 2024 amounted to about MGBP 50 (approx. MSEK 680) with a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start.
