ASSA ABLOY sponsors music festival

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UKI is the headline sponsor for this year’s Willenhall Lock Stock Festival taking place on Sunday 1 September 2024. Willenhall Lock Stock is one of the largest social events in the Willenhall area and attracts audiences of up to 4000 from the local community and beyond. The event focuses on promoting ‘up-and-coming’ bands and providing everyone with a ‘great day out’.

As part of the ‘Together we make a difference’ initiative, sponsoring a locally organised event is an exciting opportunity to help spread community cheer and ASSA ABLOY will be present on the day with freebies, games and fundraising activities to support their charity of the year – Compton Care.

Hosted round the corner from the ASSA ABLOY Head office at Willenhall Memorial the site was created over one hundred years ago by unemployed ex-servicemen as a tribute to the local people who sadly lost their lives in the First World War. The park has been regenerated by the local community and the Friends of Willenhall Memorial Park group and has held a Green Flag award since 2008. Today, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of trees, plants and shrubs, alongside local events such as Willenhall Lock Stock that are often hosted in this large community space.

Laura Johnson, head of communications &eEmployer branding said: “We are delighted to be the headline sponsors of this year’s Willenhall Lock Stock Festival – as a large local employer in the area, we are passionate about supporting and giving back to our local community. Being situated right round the corner – quite literally from our UKI Head Office, we were extremely excited by the opportunity to support this not-for-profit event that supports local talented music artists and is a regularly visited event by our very own team members. As part of our sponsorship we have also provided our team members with tickets for themselves and their friends and families.”
