The official acquisition was completed on 25 April and following a stock take, Alexander & Wilks will move the short distance (0.5 miles) to its new home and re-open for business on the 2 May. Carlisle Brass has acquired the brand, the product range and the experts who will continue to focus on Alexander & Wilks with its new employer.

Supporting growth plans

The Alexander & Wilks brand has grown exponentially in a short period of time and now, as part of a larger operation, will be supported to achieve its ambitious growth plans. Cabinet hardware is already a key element of the Carlisle Brass product range and the addition of Alexander & Wilks to the portfolio gives customers access to a wider range of ironmongery.
