Codelocks has appointed Paul Campbell as its new technical, quality and sustainability manager. Campbell will focus on driving Codelocks’s newly launched sustainability initiatives, while also working towards new accreditations.
Codelocks has shown commitment to a sustainable future by adding sustainability as one of its six core corporate values, along with appointing Campbell to drive its initiatives.
Commenting on his new appointment, Campbell said: “A priority in my role will be empowering the team around me. Through regular audits, monitoring our processes and targets, we can ensure that we collectively work towards new sustainability and quality goals. Behaviour change will come through finding efficiencies across the whole of Codelocks’s global operations. We’ll begin with the UK, but quickly expand to incorporate the wider organisation. I have knowledge to share and I’m excited to start helping the company progress to the next level.”
Campbell is certified by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) as a Lead Audit Assessor and has created many educational materials for the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) that are also approved by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). In his new role, he will be responsible for factory management, supplier compliance and quality assurance.
Colin Campbell, managing director of Codelocks, commented on the new appointment. “Codelocks is looking to mature in certain areas, and bringing Paul on board will enable us to make that level change. We’re streamlining our entire supply chain and with the aim to make as many efficiencies as possible. Paul will make that a reality for us, and there will be positive benefits for everyone – customers, suppliers, and employees.”
Paul Campbell will be at the upcoming Master Locksmiths Association (MLA) On the Road Locks training on the 16 November in Rugby. Book your place here.
