Consort Architectural Hardware, manufacturer and international supplier of architectural hardware solutions, has relocated its headquarters to Birmingham Business Park in a move that looks to centralise the company’s operations.
Following the transfer of its two existing sites from Birmingham city centre’s historic Gun Quarter, Consort has now occupied 23,163 sq. ft of warehousing space at Radial Park, situated in Solihull. The new premises retains Consort’s tradition of operating in the Birmingham area and has been transformed into a versatile headquarters combining contemporary office space, communal areas with modern amenities and a large warehouse unit with bespoke racking installations and additional desk space, designed to increase stock capacity and enhance order handling.
The new move marks a major milestone for the family-owned company, with a multi-functional head office providing room for expansion, leading to new employment opportunities in the area and equipping the business to evolve alongside the future demands of specialist architectural hardware.

Daniel May, director at Consort Architectural Hardware, comments on the relocation project: “As we enter a new chapter of growth as a company, we required a centralised workspace that would support our long term business goals whilst strengthening our core values of culture and innovation, and our new site at Radial Park was the perfect match for us.
“With its size and strategic location near the M42, our new state-of-the-art warehouse will enhance our operational capabilities and emphasises our commitment to growth in this sector. Our new office space also caters to the needs of our modern workforce, with the installation of a communal canteen, showers, gym facility and photography studio all helping to create a naturally welcoming and professional environment.
“By applying our own finishing touches, which include EV charging points, X2 bike storage units and reinstalled door hardware units featuring a range of our flagship products, we’ve found a home that caters to the needs of our modern workforce as we further build on our global operations – and all whilst allowing us to remain true to our Birmingham roots.”
