Dezeen Awards 2023 is open for entries and has expanded categories this year to include building products.
Now in its sixth year, Dezeen Awards celebrate the world’s best architecture, interiors and design. The categories have been revised for 2023, and there are now 39 project categories to enter across architecture, interiors, design and sustainability.
This includes nine new awards, three of which are within sustainability categories and will reward sustainable renovations, sustainable building products and material innovations. One of the new awards is sustainable design – building product. This is for designs of cutting-edge products that lead in their field where the innovation delivers carbon reduction or improved climate resilience. Building products can include windows and doors.
Across all categories, entries will have to provide more information about how projects impact people and planet.
The winners of these 39 project categories will go head to head for the chance to be crowned one of four overall project of the year winners across architecture, interiors, design and sustainability.
Entries will be judged by a diverse panel of leading industry professionals, made up of 90 architects and designers from around the globe.
