izé remakes handle for exhibition

izé has created a modern remake of a handle designed by philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein for an exhibition on Haus Wittgenstein.

Wittgenstein designed interior elements for his sisters in Vienna between 1926-1929 including windows, doors, door handles, and radiators, designs which embody the rigor and elegance of Viennese Modernism. An exhibition at Danielle Arnaud Gallery is showcasing the responses of artists Ergin Cavusoglu and Jon Bird to the townhouse and will include izé’s remake of the iconic handle.

Soon available at www.izé.com, the handle retains the original asymmetrical form and design values while featuring updated fittings.

Visit the Danielle Arnaud Gallery from the 5th of October to the 9th of November 2024 to see the new Wittgenstein handle first-hand. Read more about the exhibition here www.daniellearnaud.com
