Architectural ironmonger strengthens presence in leading design destination

Architectural ironmongery specialist John Planck is set to open its first product showcase at London’s Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.
Located within the Design Centre’s brand-new, fifth floor Design Emporium Collective, the showcase will officially open on 9 March, giving architects, contractors, specifiers and interior designers direct access to the business, its partner brands and its technical expertise.
The showcase features a selection of John Planck’s own portfolio of architectural ironmongery collections alongside sought-after ranges from some of the world’s leading international hardware brands that it represents, including Formani, Valli and Dnd.

As the exclusive UK distributor for contemporary Danish lifestyle brand FROST Denmark, John Planck’s space also features an extensive collection of bathroom and lifestyle products from the Scandinavian brand. This includes mirrors, shelving, coat stands, door furniture, dispensers and their recently launched care range which showcases design led disability support rails and seats in a range of finishes and signature minimal designs.
Visitors to the showcase will also be able to arrange to meet with John Planck’s expert team to discuss the full scope of services the company provides. This includes initial design consultation, detailed specification, scheduling, compliance guidance, testing and supply.
A partner to contractors, architects and interior designers, John Planck has more than 50 years’ experience supporting projects throughout the UK and abroad. It is the go-to supplier of architectural ironmongery for many businesses across the hospitality, high-end residential, healthcare and commercial sectors. Its portfolio includes landmark schemes such as the Royal Opera House, Raffles London at The OWO, Regent’s Crescent, the Battle of Britain Memorial, the Old Admiralty Building and Rosewood Hotel London.
Tom Planck, managing director at John Planck, said: “Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is one of the UK’s most inspiring design destinations and to be opening a permanent base there is an exciting milestone for us.

“It gives us a dedicated space to demonstrate the breadth of products and services we can deliver, allowing us to strengthen our relationships with existing clients and giving us added presence to connect with new partners across the hospitality, residential and commercial sectors.
“Alongside our own architectural hardware collection, we work with some of the world’s most respected brands, including FROST Denmark, Formani, Valli, and Dnd, all of whom will be represented in the new space. Bringing these collections together under one roof will allow designers to experience the quality, detail and range of products we can supply.”
