Locksmith of the Year award winners announced

Independently run and voted for by both the industry and the public, the Locksmith Awards announced the 2025 winners recognising professionalism, skill and contribution across the UK locksmithing sector.

Hazel Oakley, Female Locksmith of the Year

Winners include Codelocks for both Best Access Control of the Year and Keyless Entry Company of the Year; UAP for Hardware Company of the Year and Squire for Padlock Supplier of the Year.

Hazel Oakley of Gloucester Locksmiths was named Female Locksmith of the Year. Gloucester Locksmith is a long-term partner of Mul-T Lock, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group. Gloucester Locksmith has over a 50% female staff ratio.

Oakley said: “Winning Female Locksmith of the Year genuinely means so much to me. I’m proud of the work I do and of the trust customers place in me, and to be recognised by the industry in this way is incredibly special. I hope it encourages more women to see locksmithing as a real career choice where they can thrive and be taken seriously.”
