The GAI has launched a new Specifier’s Resource Book designed to raise the profile of the architectural ironmongery sector among architects, contractors, and the
wider construction industry.
The publication will showcase award-winning architectural ironmongery projects and products from the recent AI Specification Awards 2022. It will also act as a source of information and reference for specifiers,
with articles, best practice advice on key issues, and a directory of GAI members.
The publication is being distributed to more than 75,000 architects, architectural technologists, architectural ironmongers, chartered builders and interior designers.

GAI technical manager Douglas Masterson said: “The new Specifier’s Resource Book
is a celebration of excellence, design and best practice in architectural ironmongery.
“It has been produced and distributed to underline to specifiers and the wider construction sector the importance and value of engaging with high-quality AI professionals and companies from the very earliest stages of their projects.”
