Located within the South Downs National Park The Mile House won a RIBA regional award. Ironmongery solutions for the stylish and elegant property were supplied by SB Ironmongery in collaboration with Meloy Architecture and Design, a practice the ironmonger has worked with since 2018.

The property included SB Ironmongery’s Sirius T316 solid stainless steel 16mm diameter lever handle, chosen to compliment the modern interior of this unique project.

This fully certified Passivhaus is arranged as a collection of three wings with living, sleeping and reception areas all with their own dedicated spaces. Constructed using engineered timber with blown wood fibre insulation to produce a building with exceptional thermal performance.

SB Ironmongery also provided all the internal timber doors, sent to site prepped for ironmongery.
