Zoo Hardware appoints head of sales

James Lowe, Zoo Hardware’s new head of sales

Zoo Hardware, UK designers and suppliers of architectural door hardware, has appointed a new head of sales to spearhead the business’s continued growth in the architectural ironmongery and specification markets.

Over the last two decades, James Lowe has managed the sales teams of industry leaders including Sony, Supermax and Pfizer, and joins Zoo Hardware from Travis Perkins, where he was national accounts manager for six years.

As part of his new role, Lowe will be responsible for leading Zoo Hardware’s nationwide sales team in achieving accelerated and sustainable growth. He will work with the product and logistics departments to meet the most demanding site specifications by combining the latest innovations in door hardware with tailored technical assistance.

Speaking of his appointment, Lowe said: “2023 is a year of real opportunity for Zoo Hardware and we are committed to working in partnership with our customers to form enduring relationships that really deliver.

“With the backing of our parent company, Tyman UK & Ireland, we can continue to streamline and update our processes and approaches to ensure we achieve optimum agility, placing us in the best position to react to and fulfil our customers exact requirements.”

This includes providing high-quality architectural door hardware that is independently tested and certified to the latest industry standards to help architectural ironmongers and construction professionals achieve complete compliance with the latest building regulations, without compromising on aesthetic appeal.
