Zoo Hardware launches suite of access control products

Zoo Hardware’s new access control options include emergency door releases

Zoo Hardware has launched a new access control range designed for commercial buildings and shared residential accommodation.

Comprising of over 40 products, the range includes entry and exit devices, key switches, emergency door releases, keypads and magnetic locks, providing customers with an access control system that regulates and ensures safe and secure building access.

The range is the first of its kind for Zoo Hardware, as the business continues to expand into electric door hardware, following the successful launch of its electro-magnetic door closers in 2023. The access control range also enables Zoo Hardware to supply solutions for external doors for the first time.

Included within the range are next generation switchmode 12V PSUs with replaceable modular boards, allowing for quick and easy upgrades. Exit devices include request to exit and touch free options for hygiene-sensitive environments, while there are a choice of key fobs and cards available. Also supplied is a fire tested range of slimline magnetic locks and brackets, suitable for 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute rated timber fire doorsets.

Jason Tonks Reg AI, technical product manager at Zoo Hardware, said: “Zoo Hardware has established itself as a trusted supplier that puts customers front and centre of everything we do, and it’s this ethos that has driven the introduction of our new access control range. We recognise that alongside compliance and technical expertise, our customers need ease and convenience too, and customers are now able to rely on Zoo Hardware to supply high quality access control solutions, alongside the mechanical hardware we are known for.

“With access control now a firm cornerstone of modern security systems, we recognised the importance of meeting the increasing demand. Whether it’s used within commercial, public or residential spaces, our range ensures that customers have everything they need to secure and access their premises efficiently and safely.”
